As always, the new kid in town challenges the old bull. In this case, I have just Proed the Acura and want to see if it can beat my current king in the 1682 bracket, the Porsche. It has become real hard to find opponents in B class, but at least I always raced against 3 to 5 people.
6 races in a row, Classic Season day #6, ~1850 points, full boosters
10 points for 1st place, 6 points for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th, 2 for 5th and 1 for 6th
The Acura has good control and is very precise, even on narrow tracks like Munich subway. But it's such a well-balanced car that it's suitable for any track. The acc is quite slow with perfect nitro, but a whole lot better with triple-tap. This car is absolutely superior when you're in the lead, but it uses a lot of nitro, which can make it very vulnerable on some tracks.
First of all, the Porsche looks great. But that's of course a matter of taste! It's very assertive in wheel-to-wheel fights and always hungry for more victims it can wreck. But that capability is necessary bc it's harder to keep your opponents behind you than with the Acura. The Porsche also is a slow accelerator, even with triple-tap, so the start is always a little critical. It has good control in the big spirals, but really comes to life in fast curves. It almost feels like it was made for tracks like Transylvania or Patagonia, where it can outrun anyone with its cornering capabilities and superior nitro efficiency.

Summary
Even though I was never completely content with the Porsche and had put big hopes in the Acura, the Porsche is a hair's breadth in front. If you're feeling concentrated and precise and faster than anyone, pick the Acura! But if you're feeling aggressive and competitive and spoiling for an MP fight, the Porsche is your definite car of choice.
