After Proing the Jaguar C-X75 at the same time as the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, I was actually expecting to be flashed by the Lambo. But instead, the Jaguar suprised me with an MP victory in the very first race. So I decided to put it in a review with the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, my beloved and hated upper B-class bracket king, to find out what its capabilities are.
7 races in a row, Classic Season day #7, starting at 2003 points, full boosters
10 points for 1st place, 6 points for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th, 2 for 5th and 1 for 6th
The Jaguar has great acc, so you're relatively safe from being wrecked at the start. Its high precision makes it suitable for narrow tracks like Munich Subway, only the full drift feels a little heavy. On faster tracks, it feels like the slightest touch can bring it out of its balance, so that can be a little problematic in fast corners. The nitro efficiency is significantly above average and thus good enough for most tracks.
I like how this car gives you a gentle kick to the inside of the corner when switching from full drift to nitro, so you can accelerate this little bit earlier than your opponents, but without the danger of crashing into the inside of the corner. In one of the races, a potential start-to-finish victory in Tokyo was ruined by a 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports, but in another race, I wrecked the same car with ease.
The Porsche feels like a battleship. Or a battering ram! But a quick one! It makes you tremble at the start, as most of its opponents have better acc and can wreck you, even shortly after you've reached top speed already. But it also gives you great confidence during the race.
Its nitro efficiency could be better, and it's also less precise than the Jaguar, which is not so good for city tracks like London, but awesome in superfast locations like Monte Carlo or Tenerife.

Summary
I'm really surprised by the Jaguar. Again! People don't talk about it often here in the forum, and its rank of 1679 doesn't suggest it was a king either. But hey, it beat the Porsche in this contest, and it also won a Forum Contest recently.
So as a Porsche fan, it's hard for me to admit, but the Porsche is not as great as it once was. Dear Porsche, it was nice having you on the list of my best cars in the 1682 bracket, but now it's time to say goodbye. ๐ข And to say hello to a new true champ, the Jaguar C-X75. ๐
