This time I'll do a little different review. As GL's ghosting has changed everything in MP, the cards are reshuffled, and all my reviews so far are now outdated or at least not 100% reliable any more. And as I have Proed a lot of potential rank 1682 kings recently, I've decided to put all of them in one big review. They are: Day #4 of Classic Season, from 1400+ points (Pro League) to 1600+ points (Champion League), the cars with the highest average points per race win. I'll test a new car every 2 weeks and do one post per car, starting NOW!

BMW M4 GTS

Video log: BMW M4 GTS (14.03.2024)
Points: 194 Races: 9 Average: 21.556 Against the Bentleys und Aventadors, it feels like the BMW is standing still at the start. But once it got going, it's dynamic and quick and can outrun the Bentley in faster corners with its handling. And once it's in the lead, it's sovereign enough to defend it against anyone. Its high precision makes it also good for narrow city tracks like Dubai or London. The nitro efficiency is Ok, I was able to out-nitro a LaFerrari on the track. But the BMW doesn't like wheel-to-wheel fights and doesn't work well if you want too much. You could almost think it punishes the driver if he's too demanding. So the car is competitive, but only under its own prerequisites. It reminds me of a cat somehow, which is a sign of character on the one hand, but on the other hand, for a racing car, it's better to have a dog that does what it's told. So altogether, it's a great car, but I'm not 100% content.

Jaguar C-X75
| Race | Pos | Points | Lost against... | 1 | 1 | 42 | - | 2 | 1 | 47 | - | 3 | 1 | 35 | - | 4 | 3 | 18 | 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports | 5 | 3 | 14 | Lamborghini Aventador Coupé | 6 | 2 | 23 | Lamborghini Aventador Coupé | 7 | 7 | -2 | Ferrari FF | 8 | 1 | 33 | - |
Video log: Jaguar C-X75 (28.03.2024)
Points: 210 Races: 8 Average: 26.25 What can I say! The Jaguar has great acc and nitro efficiency, good handling, and it never skids. Although it cackles like a goose, it's still quite a sexy car. It's precise on narrow tracks like Munich or at the much-behated Iceland cave entrance, especially in full drift and in the drift-to-nitro transition. But it also likes speed: Driving in Transylvania feels as if the track was made especially for this car. The Jaguar also adapts to the driver's mood, so it has good response to angry driving for example. But you can also be a cool cat if you want. It almost feels unnatural if you happen to not win a race with this car. But that is just the feeling. In reality, the car does have its weaknesses. It's particularly weak in full drift. It's not easily wrecked as such, yet brought out of its balance easily when attacked by other cars. And being the attacker yourself with the Jaguar, you cannot even wreck an Aventador Coupé when splashing directly on its roof. So the Jaguar is definitiely a damn quick car. But direct competition with other cars is not its specialty. So it's a great car, also for MP, but not the perfect allrounder of the 1682 bracket that I'm looking for.

What about the cadillac? I don't get your questions. My Bentley is @ Pro. And what Cadillac??

The 1679 Cadillac 16 concept, once a mastery gift, now as many told here a king in this rank. Don't you think that the bentley is enough for that rank? I was thinking you had the intention to maintain it at 1590-2 like many of us, becouse you are looking for something else; otherwise it's the king even at 1682.

I don't own the Cadillac, and it's not available either. And no, I never do MP-tuning. My goal is to Pro every single car I own.
Concerning the reviews, the 2010 Conti is definitely one of the best in the 1682 bracket, but I want to find out for all 8 cars how good they are in relation to each other. To separate the wheat from the chaff!

Sorry for not looking from the start at first, started to read from where the site took me at entering. The most important thing that has ever stopped me in doing such confrontation between cars is the impossibility to take in account cheaters. But, perhaps, at the fourth day they are all gone. And the number of races you consider is right. Thank you for sharing, enjoy the process.

There are many factors that actually make the results unusable: My mood on that day may vary from review to review, whether I get 2 or 11 opponents, if one of the opponents is an alien getting on my nerves 5 races in a row, cheaters, fortune, CPU lag at the worst possible moment, external distraction, everything.
Averaging over a span of ~200 points helps, but in the end, it's not only the numbers, but also my personal, subjective judgement. Of course none of this is a precise science. As you wrote it, it's just for the fun of it! 😊

At this pace you are going to end for the mid of may, But I foresee that bentley will eventually go exaequo with lamborghini coupè... My review queue is currently extremely long. There's another 14 cars after these 8. But I have Proed almost all interesting cars already, so I will run out of cars to review if I do it to fast. That's why I'm taking my time now. May sounds Ok to me. Actually I would have to re-review every car I ever reviewed, as U66 has changed everything. So I guess it will be a constant work-in-progress anyway.

Ferrari 812 SuperfastThe Superfast is such a BITCH!! I had to fight against the car more than I had to fight against my opponents. And after only 108 points in 10 races, I gave up on the car. 🙁
The acc is not great, although it's a little bit faster than the Clubsport's and the Acura's. And the Ferrari feels really heavy, with a huge steering response time, bad handling and a wide and slow full drift. It sometimes looks as if you're watching the Ferrari in slow-motion, competing against opponents moving in real-time. Concerning speed recovery, it's Ok but cannot keep up with the 2010 Conti's, so it's almost impossible to outrun this frequently-used car. It's also very fiddly to maintain control over the car in direct fights against other cars, and you get pushed to the side or wrecked too easily with the Ferrari. Only when there are no opponents around, this car is controllable and precise. But due to the already-mentioned acc and speed recovery issues, this is almost never the case in MP. So this car is disqualified from this contest due to bad performance, and also removed from my list of best cars. BTW, after the races for this review, I switched to the Acura and went from 1515 to 1600 in only 3 races. So I'm really looking forward to reviewing it in 2 weeks. It used to be great, but the competition has grown stronger.
