Well observed! Yes, sometimes, the nitro bottles make you go wide, such as on Citadel Clash in my Jesko (seen in the video above). Whenever I have enough nitro in my tank, I can afford to abandon nitro bottles in order to get tighter racing lines. But you've got to be very careful and very precise. You have to know exactly what you're doing in order to understand when it is okay to abandon a nitro bottle in such a way. yeah.. in that video also i noticed with the senna, there is a corner where i believe u purposely touched the wall along the corner to get it right... where me myself i always try to do hard drift, then the car will be bit flying and go off the track.. lol Yes, that drift is very dangerous. That is actually one of the places where the Pininfarina Battista was failing to stay on the road in the past, which led to discussions about the Battista's poor handling (this has since been fixed to a certain degree). I scrape the wall, known as "wall-riding", in order to ensure that I don't fly off of the road. The McLaren Senna is capable of wall-riding at this section due to its excellent handling capabilities. On the other hand, certain other cars cannot do the same. Even the Jesko fails here, and I have a feeling that the Centenario can't handle it either (I haven't really tested this before). So, the Senna is very special and important for this section; it is one of the only cars that can do the job. You will notice that my opponent in that race was using the Jesko at that section. The Jesko is faster than the Senna and has higher speed whilst drifting (since it has a very high top speed without nitro), but the Senna has better handling and drifting than the Jesko, so it was able to stay ahead.

A handful of changes have occurred over the past week. Most notably, the McLaren Speedtail has been completely wiped out. It used to be one of my most-used secondary cars after the impetuous trio (Centenario, Jesko, Senna)... Now, it is gathering dust. The 2018 McLaren X2 is also close to dropping out, though it is still holding on for dear life on Orbital Loop: Asteroid Chase. Important tracks have included Rio de Janeiro: Ipanema Showdown (none), The Great Wall: The Dragon's Den (none), London: Westminster Bridge (centenario // divo), Barcelona Forward (none), Area 51: Classified (battista, bolide // senna, speedtail), and Tenerife: Dragon tree (battista // x2). The new distribution of cars used for my best lap-times on all tracks in Gauntlet mode is:
- (S1862 | Tier 1) Koenigsegg Jesko: x55⇑
- (S1861 | Tier 1) Lamborghini Centenario: x50⇈ [+1]

I've just discovered that the W Motors Fenyr Supersport is excellent at the third position on Venice Forward. For a while now, I have been unable to identify a strong car for that section. I know that the McLaren 600LT is quite good at it, but my 600LT is MP-tuned to 5555-0055 (S1728). My original setup for Venice Forward was (1) Divo, (2) Centenario, (3) Senna, (4) Jesko, (5) Pista/LVN/FXX K. My usual setup later became (1) Centenario, (2) Senna, (3) FXX K/Agera RS/Bolide, (4) Jesko, (5) LVN. At one point, I also tried using an interesting setup, (1) Bolide, (2) Senna, (3) Centenario, (4) Jesko, (5) LVN, which worked decently well. But in fact, I've now discovered that the most reliable setup (for me, at least) is (1) Centenario, (2) Senna, (3) Fenyr, (4) Jesko, (5) LVN/Battista. At the moment, I haven't been able to defeat my old best lap-time that featured the FXX K in third place, but I think I might eventually be able to if I get really lucky. The Fenyr has certainly replaced the FXX K as the third car on this track at this point. The Fenyr is a good choice for position three because it has a strong steering radius, is very stable, and is very precise and easy to control. The Fenyr only lacks drifting to a certain extent. In fact, the Fenyr had extremely good drifting in the past, but it was nerfed in this performance aspect back when it was buffed from S1830 to S1860. The Fenyr lacks nitro efficiency, but the Jesko is able to make up for this in position four, with its superb raw top speed. The Fenyr is actually more stable for position three than the Centenario is... I've tried using the Centenario, and I actually found it rather difficult to control in that section, largely because it is prone to skidding on those shallow sidewalks, whereas the Fenyr is stable enough that it just glides over them, a bit like the Sian. Think of the Fenyr as having a similar model of handling+drifting to the Sian, but just better.
Note /// I have seen the following cars used in the following positions of Venice Forward in Gauntlet mode: - Position one: 2018 McLaren X2, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans, Bugatti Bolide, Lamborghini Centenario, Bugatti Divo, etc.
- Position two: 2018 McLaren X2, Arash AF10 (!), Ferrari FXX K, BXR Bailey Blade GT1 Special Edition, Lamborghini Centenario, McLaren Senna, McLaren 600LT, Koenigsegg Jesko, McLaren MP4-31, etc.
- Position three: Koenigsegg Jesko, McLaren 600LT, McLaren Senna, Koenigsegg Agera RS, etc.
- Position four: Koenigsegg Jesko, Koenigsegg Agera RS, McLaren MP4-31, etc.
- Position five: Anything.
Theoretically, the Koenigsegg Jesko is the best car for position three while the MP4-31 is the best car for position four. This should provide the best results; i.e. the setup (1) Centenario, (2) Senna, (3) Jesko, (4) MP4-31, and (5) LVN/Battista, etc, should theoretically be the most effective setup. However, I find that the Jesko is pretty unstable for position three, and, likewise, the MP4-31 is pretty unstable for position four. So, even though this setup can theoretically provide the best results, when it comes to consistency and reliability, it's definitely not the best setup. My new setup of (1) Centenario, (2) Senna, (3) Fenyr, (4) Jesko, and (5) LVN/Battista is a lot more reliable.
EDIT1: I wrote this post because Venice Forward has been very important this week. Near the middle of the week, I managed to defeat this player called "Kairess" once on this track. However, at the same time, I lost to this player around six times (accepting validation). So, I had lost to them much more than I had won by then. This has all changed as of today, Sunday, the last day of the week/season. Due to discovering the strength of the Fenyr in position three today, I've managed to defeat Kairess five times, which has cemented my position in the top ten and pushed Kairess firmly out of it. Today, I initially lost three times against Kairess using the Sian (p1) first once and then the Fenyr (p3) next twice (quitting before validation), then I defeated Kairess four times in a row using the Fenyr (p3), then I lost against Kairess four times in a row using the Fenyr (p3) again (quitting before validation), and then I finally defeated Kairess a fifth time using the Fenyr (p3), which was enough to collect all of my daily rewards. Obviously, it would have been preferable if I had not lost to Kairess four times in a row whilst using the Fenyr. I think it was a combination of bad luck, cockiness, karma, and lag. But I eventually claimed my fifth victory over Kairess, and I was able to conclude my Gauntlet session after that. In summary, I've achieved a major comeback against Kairess this week, who will probably be shocked to see that a player who was initially losing to them left, right and centre has now completely destroyed them at the end of the week. Patience is a virtue.
EDIT2: Corrected some details.

A few changes have occurred over the past two weeks. Most notably, the 2018 McLaren X2 has been completely eliminated, and by none other than the McLaren MP4-31, which now possesses three tracks rather than just one. Meanwhile, the W Motors Fenyr Supersport is back in the game, having taken over two tracks, although one of these tracks was a dud run and could change at any moment. The Fenyr was also instrumental in securing a reliable set-up for Venice Forward. Even though it did not secure a new best lap-time over the Ferrari FXX K, the Fenyr now dominates Venice Forward in terms of my average optimal lap-time on that track (i.e. it occupies most of the lap-times just below the absolute-best lap-time that used the FXX K). This is definitely very bad for the FXX K. Even though the FXX K currently occupies three tracks, it is only a disposable on two of them (occupying just a split second or so at the end), and its only real track is being strongly challenged by a new competitor. Interestingly, even though the Fenyr was not able to take Venice Forward after dozens of attempts, it was able to take Venice Reverse away from the Koenigsegg Agera RS after just one attempt. In other news, Iceland Forward has also been a very important track. Again, I haven't managed to dethrone my old best lap-time. However, what I've discovered is that my original best set-up is definitely the best one that I have, because I've tried using a few other set-ups and they've been consistently less effective. More specifically, I've tried using the Bugatti Bolide and Pininfarina Battista in place of the Arash AF10 in position five, but neither car was able to overtake it; in fact, both cars had some problems in comparison to the AF10. Meanwhile, I also tried shaking it up a little and placing the Bolide in position three with the Jesko in position four (replacing the Senna), but that didn't work very well since the Jesko is the best option for position three. As a final note, I've discovered that the Battista is a good option for position three of The Great Wall: Buddha's Teachings, where it has replaced the McLaren Senna, which in turn has replaced the Ferrari 488 Pista in position four (it's complicated). Now, my best lap-time for TGW: Buddha's Teachings is only very slightly worse than my best lap-time for TGW: The Dragon's Den (i.e. half-a-frame worse), rather than significantly worse. My two runs on both of these tracks at this point can be considered "alien". I've seen better runs for TGW: The Dragon's Den on YouTube, but I've never seen a better run in person. I've never checked YouTube for TGW: Buddha's Teachings, but I do remember previously being unable to defeat an alien lap-time on this track, and now my new best lap-time is better than that alien lap-time (my opponent was another alien), so I've now achieved the best lap-time that I've ever seen for this track as well. For TGW: The Dragon's Den, I've noticed that a lot of players don't know the 100%-perfect route for this track, whereas I do... On the other hand, the best route for TGW: Buddha's Teachings is quite a bit simpler, although the track still requires a decent amount of skill in order to set an alien lap-time. Obligatory information; the tracks that possess new best lap-times are Sector 8 Reverse (centenario // senna), The Great Wall: Buddha's Teachings (battista // pista), Orbital Loop: Asteroid Chase (mp4-31, bolide // x2, lvn), Transylvania: The King's Highway (mp4-31 // centenario), Venice Reverse (fenyr // agera rs), and Tenerife: Cloud Nine (divo, fenyr // lvn, centenario). The new distribution of cars used for my best lap-times on all tracks in Gauntlet mode is:

Relatively little has happened since my last post in this thread. Due to server issues between March 1 and March 13 (except for a brief period of connectivity on March 4, during which I set a new best lap-time), I was unable to access Gauntlet mode throughout that period. Nonetheless, I still set five new best lap-times from February 22 up until now. Two of these new best lap-times are minor improvements upon pre-existing set-ups. However, some significant changes have taken place. Notably, the Automobili Pininfarina Battista has managed to completely eliminate both the Aspark Owl and the Rimac C_Two. Meanwhile, the W Motors Fenyr Supersport has defeated the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 on one track (shared with the Battista vs the Owl), whereas the Bugatti Bolide has defeated the Arash AF10 on another track. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are The Great Wall: The Dragon's Den (none) (feb27), Transylvania: Citadel Clash (none) (feb28), Terra 9: Cloudtop Avenue (fenyr, battista // sian, owl) (mar1), The Great Wall: Temple Drive (bolide // af10) (mar4), and Sector 8 Forward (battista // c_two) (mar17). Some changes have occurred over the past eight days. I was inactive on two of the days throughout this period. Nonetheless, I've managed to secure a few new personal bests, including a one-up of a PB that I achieved in my previous post in this thread (The Great Wall: Temple Drive). The Fenyr has managed to secure new positions on two tracks, including Tenerife: Mount Teide, whose previous PB dates back to November 18, 2021. Meanwhile, I've finally managed to crack Tenerife: Sky Drop and defeat my original personal best on that track, which is so old that I don't even know the exact date that it took place. This is essentially the first time that I've one-upped my PB on Sky Drop since the very beginning. This also seems to be the first time that the Bolide has lost a track since its inception in this thread, breaking a streak of 19 new tracks in a row (The Great Wall: Temple Drive). EDIT: I've also managed to improve my best lap-time on Azure Coast Reverse using the exact same set-up as my previous PB on this track. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are The Great Wall: Temple Drive (fenyr // bolide) (mar19), Tenerife: Mount Teide (fenyr // fxx k) (mar23), Azure Coast Reverse (none) (mar26), and Tenerife: Sky Drop (senna // lvn) (mar26). Over the past nine days, I've achieved new PBs on five tracks. One of the tracks actually had a new PB back on March 28 and then an even better new PB on April 4, this track being Iceland Reverse. There have been major improvements for Terra 9: Neon Pursuit, wherein I took the shortcut for the first time and shaved off half-a-second from my PB, and Iceland Reverse, wherein I somehow managed to shave off one-sixth-of-a-second from my lap-time despite bumping walls at the end and accidentally saving the run when I wanted to quit and start over. Also, the Huayra BC was knocked out of Iceland Reverse by the Bolide back on March 28, wiping the Huayra BC off of the leaderboard for good. The Huayra BC briefly returned to the leaderboard on March 30 by defeating the Fenyr on Venice Reverse, but the Fenyr quickly reclaimed its position on March 31. (Note: Something similar has happened in the past, with Transylvania: Clifftop Run and the Lamborghini Aventador SV versus the Koenigsegg Agera RS.) My new PB on The Great Wall Forward on March 28 was my throwdown lap for that season of Gauntlet, and it was achieved with only two attempts. The Fenyr managed to knock out the Battista, so now both cars are sitting at x6 tracks each. This is the first time that the Battista has lost a track, I believe. Meanwhile, this is a sign that the Fenyr is cementing itself within the leaderboard, despite having previously been wiped out of the leaderboard by the Huayra BC (on none other than Iceland Reverse). So, basically, the Fenyr and Huayra BC are locked in a fierce battle, and the Fenyr is winning at the moment. The Fenyr is also locked in a fierce battle with the Ferrari FXX K. The Ferrari 488 Pista and Koenigsegg Agera RS are on the firing line too (more so the Pista). The Arash AF10 is vaguely at risk of being pushed out of Transylvania: Mountain City Rally by the McLaren MP4-31, although this prediction has not occurred yet. I will also add that Iceland Reverse seems to be one of the most turbulent tracks. It has seen fighting between the Speedtail, Fenyr, Huayra BC and Bolide over the second and third positions of the track; the Bolide seems to have recently cemented itself as the second car. Meanwhile, the AF10 and LVN have fought for the fifth position of the track for a long time, although it seems that the AF10 has recently cemented itself as the fifth car. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are The Great Wall Forward (fenyr // battista) (mar28), Sector 8 Forward (none) (mar29), Terra 9: Neon Pursuit (none) (mar30), Venice Reverse (none) (mar30 & mar31), and Iceland Reverse (bolide // huayra bc) (mar28 & apr4). Over the past week, some changes have occurred. The star of the show has been the Battista, which has proven itself to be invaluable on three different tracks. Meanwhile, three cars have both gained one track and lost one track, namely the Senna, Agera RS and R.S. 01. In fact, the R.S. 01 was briefly wiped out of the leaderboard entirely from April 6 to April 7. The car that defeated the R.S. 01 was the Agera RS, and the car that the R.S. 01 defeated to regain its place on the leaderboard was the Agera RS. Both of these skirmishes occurred on the Orbital Loop tracks. The Sian has sneakily gained one track. Meanwhile, the Centenario and Bolide have each lost one track, while the LVN has lost two tracks. The LVN is not in danger of death yet, but it is certainly losing its competitive edge. The main culprits that are attacking the LVN are the Bolide and the Battista. The LVN is mildly useful as a starter car, but its main role is actually as a filler car, so these are the positions that it is mainly occupying and also mainly losing. The LVN has an excellent total top speed and good nitro efficiency, but its handling is very stiff. The Battista also has stiff handling, but it makes up for this with a unique model of acceleration. Meanwhile, the Bolide has excellent handling with average drifting. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are Sector 8 Reverse (Senna, Battista // Centenario, Bolide) (apr6), Orbital Loop: Escape Velocity (Agera RS, Battista // R.S. 01, LVN) (apr6), Orbital Loop: Lunar Liftoff (R.S. 01, Sian // Agera RS, LVN) (apr7), and Tenerife: Sky Drop (Battista // Senna) (apr9). Over the past six days, I've achieved new best lap-times on three tracks. Two of these tracks had two sets of new PBs, one earlier in the week and another later in the week that beat the earlier PB. Test Site: Omega has seen major improvements, with the Centenario replacing the Sian as the starter car, the Jesko replacing the Centenario in the lab area, and the AF10 replacing the Jesko in the highway section (so, in essence, the AF10 has replaced the Sian). With that being said, it is evident that the Chiron SS300+ (which I don't own) is the best starter car for this track. Rapido Park and Avalanche Alley have seen minor improvements. In Avalanche Alley, the Bolide was able to replace the LVN as the fourth car. As such, the LVN was dethroned from its position as a "core" car. I've rearranged some of the tiers in the Performance Analysis: Class S thread. These changes are reflected in this post. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are Rio de Janeiro: Rapido Park (none) (apr15), Area 51: Test Site: Omega (AF10 // Sian) (apr12 & apr16), and Patagonia: Avalanche Alley (Bolide // LVN) (apr14 & apr17).The new distribution of cars used for my best lap-times on all tracks in Gauntlet mode is:

Over the past ten days, several notable changes have occurred on and off the field. New cars that I've acquired at MAX+PRO include the McLaren 600LT and Koenigsegg Regera. Furthermore, the Pinfinarina Battista's performance was rebalanced (to a slight degree) in the middle of this season. Additionally, I've been utilising the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 more often lately in order to compare its performance to the Lamborghini Centenario more closely. In Gauntlet mode, I've acquired new personal best lap-times on six tracks. Of these, three were minor improvements, one was a major improvement but a loss at the same time, and two were major improvements (and successful). On one of the tracks with a minor new PB, the McLaren 600LT has made its first appearance on the leaderboard in history. This track is Transylvania: Citadel Clash. The Bugatti Bolide has crossed the twenties after acquiring three new tracks (up from 19, now at 22). The Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 has crossed the x4 races margin and is now underlined. The Pininfarina Battista has crossed the x10 races margin and is now in bold. On Munich Subway: Rapid Transit, my PB lap-time has improved so much that the fourth position has been completely wiped out, and the track now only requires three positions; the car that lost this position was the Ferrari 488 Pista, which is down to two tracks in total and has been looking to be on the way out for a while now. Note: Rapid Transit is the track that's a loss, but the PB lap-time improvement is still significant. I have achieved new "super" alien lap-times on Terra 9: Cloudtop Avenue and Patagonia: Crystal Lake, where I've made good use of my (relatively) newly-acquired Bugatti Bolide (which has contributed to the Bolide's recent positive progress). The Bolide essentially tends to replace the Koenigsegg Jesko in its standard spot, and then the Jesko is freed up for even more advantageous positions elsewhere in the track. Essentially, the Bolide acts as a bootleg secondary Jesko (meanwhile, the Arash AF10 acts as a bootleg tertiary Jesko, after the Bolide). The tracks that possess new best lap-times are Terra 9: Cloudtop Avenue (Bolide // Fenyr) (April 18), Sector 8 Reverse (None) (April 18), London Standard (None) (April 18), Transylvania: Citadel Clash (600LT, Battista // Senna, Divo) (April 19), Munich Subway: Rapid Transit [loss] (Sian, Bolide // Centenario, Senna, Pista) (April 20), Patagonia: Crystal Lake (Sian, Bolide // Agera RS, Senna) (April 21 & April 22). The new distribution of cars used for my best lap-times on all tracks in Gauntlet mode is:
