Over the past eight days, I've made some progress. The first couple of days were mostly irrelevant since I was intentionally using underpowered cars. However, my best line-ups have come back in recent days. I've achieved a new "mega alien" run on Iceland Reverse. It's not quite as good as a run containing the Chiron SS300+ (which I don't own), but it's far better than anything I've come up with before. The Sian is used as the starter car while the Centenario fills a support role, just like in Patagonia: Crystal Lake. The Bolide is used as the second car, which is a carry over from my previous PB on Iceland Reverse. I've achieved new PBs on Area 51: Route 375-1 and Barcelona Forward. Truth be told, both of these runs are much better than anything that I've come up with before as well. With that being said, I know for sure that both runs can be better if I push myself to the limits. I've achieved a slight PB on London: Westminster Bridge. The Senna has reclaimed this track from the Bolide, which stole this track from the Senna a while ago. I've achieved a mega alien run on Transylvania: Mountain City Rally just today. Again, this was done without the Chiron SS300+. Unfortunately, I didn't record this run since my screen recorder wasn't working at the time. This run featured the McLaren MP4-31 for the fourth position, which is a rare occurrence. The Arash AF10 was kicked out of position two by the Jesko (which was in turn replaced by the Bolide at position three, so the AF10 was essentially replaced by the Bolide). The Senna was replaced by the MP4-31. Overall, the Senna has dropped by two tracks (gaining one track and losing three); it is close to dropping into the thirties. The Battista has further cemented its 10+ tracks by gaining two more (it's now at 12). The LVN is gradually dropping in tracks, but it isn't close to a complete death yet. The Sian and MP4-31 are both cementing themselves as permanent members of my wider Gauntlet line-up. The AF10 has lost a track but is still undoubtedly safe for the four tracks that remain (at least, in the absence of the Chiron SS300+). The tracks that possess new best lap-times are Iceland Reverse (Sian // Senna) (May 2), Area 51: Route 375-1 (Battista // Senna) (May 2), Barcelona Forward (Battista // LVN) (May 2), London: Westminster Bridge (Senna // Bolide) (May 4), and Transylvania: Mountain City Rally (Bolide, MP4-31 // AF10, Senna) (May 5).

Keep going, it is of big help whole thread๐. Yep, I thought so. This thread could have gone in another direction originally. The alternative would have been to gather the best possible lap-times from pro YouTubers, such as CmhKwAnG, Hunter Viesky, and Lady Riot Elie. However, I ultimately decided to just collect my own lap-times. Firstly, my own lap-times are more reliable than super pro lap-times. I'm not as good as those players, but I'm still a decent player nonetheless. So, this provides more realistic lap-times for players of a more average skill level. Secondly, it allows for much more precision, flexibility, and consistency. If all the runs come from the exact same player, then they will all display roughly the same level of skill. I can also describe exactly what I am doing at each point of the track, and I can even change routes to a slight degree to test which ones are better. So, overall, even though it is a lot of work, I've decided that recording my own runs is the best option. However, I have not pinned this thread, since it doesn't necessarily contain the most accurate information. It is more like my own personal diary for Gauntlet mode.

Over the past eleven days, I've achieved various new PBs. Some of these have been groundbreaking. I've achieved slight improvements on The Great Wall: Wall Ascent, Transylvania: Citadel Clash, and Area 51: Route 375-1. I've also achieved a tie on Transylvania: Mountain City Rally, using a slightly different set-up of cars from my true PB (this run, being a tie, does not replace the original PB). On Sector 8 Forward, I've discovered that the Bolide is better for position two than the Centenario (since it maintains more speed after exiting the portal), and this has resulted in a substantial improvement in my lap-time (I also used a new air-speed trick at the same time). Meanwhile, on Sector 8 Reverse, I've had decent success with using the Battista as the starter car rather than the Divo. I also swapped out the Senna for the 600LT, and the Regera was used as the fourth car instead of the Battista. So, this is the second PB that I have ever recorded with the 600LT and the first PB that I have ever recorded with the Regera. On Patagonia: Ice Cave, I have achieved my first ever alien run. It wasn't a perfect run, but it was a lot better than my previous PB, which was only classified as "good". The Bolide and AF10 ended up shining on this track, whereas the LVN and Senna were kicked out. Raw top speed seems to be the way to go with this track. The tracks that possess new best lap-times are The Great Wall: Wall Ascent (Battista // Agera RS) (May 7), Sector 8 Forward (Bolide // Centenario) (May 9), Sector 8 Reverse (600LT, Regera // Divo, Senna) (May 11), Transylvania: Citadel Clash (None) (May 13), Area 51: Route 375-1 (None) (May 14 and May 16), Transylvania: Mountain City Rally (TIE: 600LT // MP4-31) (May 15), Patagonia: Ice Cave (Bolide, AF10 // LVN, Senna) (May 16).

Over the past three-and-a-half days, I've achieved new PBs on five tracks. (Yes, you heard that right! That's a lot of tracks in a short length of time. I'm pumping out an EP at this rate. We've gone past a single.) Honestly, all of these new PBs were groundbreaking to various degrees and in various ways. However, there's still a lot more that can be improved for all of them. The most significant improvement has of course been to Tenerife: Cloud Nine. It has gone from a mediocre lap-time to an alien lap-time. It's not quite at the best extent it can be, but it's close to it. The Sian was the star of the show, alongside the MP4-31 (however, the MP4-31 would go on to lose a different track soon afterwards, levelling the playing field). Meanwhile, Tenerife: Mount Teide and Orbital Loop: Satellite Rush have both been improved to smaller albeit still significant degrees, and both of these tracks now feature the Battista as the starter car rather than the Centenario. Terra 9: Cloudtop Avenue has been improved to a fairly significant degree, although the exact same cars (and positioning of the cars) have been carried over from the previous PB. Orbital Loop: Asteroid Chase has been improved to a significant degree, although there's still a long way to go, including an important shortcut/trick that I've missed in all of my attempts including this one (although, I will try it out in the future; I saw it in YouTube videos from alien players). Strangely, the Senna has been used as the starter car in this run, although that isn't made apparent from the stats that you will read below. Overall, the Centenario has taken several hits, losing two starter positions to the Battista and one to the Senna (goodness gracious me!). And the 600LT and Regera have each gained one track ( !). Meanwhile, the Fenyr has lost two tracks, falling out of the underlined 4+ club (oh no!). The tracks that possess new best lap-times are Tenerife: Cloud Nine (Sian, MP4-31, Bolide // Divo, Senna, Fenyr) (May 16 Part 2), Tenerife: Mount Teide (Battista, Regera // Centenario, Fenyr) (May 17), Terra 9: Cloudtop Avenue (None) (May 18), Orbital Loop: Asteroid Chase (Agera RS, 600LT // Centenario, MP4-31) (May 19), Orbital Loop: Satellite Rush (Battista // Centenario) (May 19).

On Transylvania: The King's Highway, the Bolide is a better starter car than the Chiron SS300+, from my testing today. The Centenario is consistently better at Nevada Forward than the Chiron SS300+. The Chiron SS300+ is in front at the beginning, but it quickly falls apart in the S-drifts. The Chiron SS300+ has now seemingly set a new PB on Rio de Janeiro: Highland View as the starter car. With that being said, I already set a new PB on this track yesterday with the Bolide as the starter car, so these two cars are very close here (yes, this means I set a new PB on this track twice in a row with different set-ups). The Chiron SS300+ has set a new PB on Transylvania: The King's Highway as the third car today, although the margin of victory was only half a frame over my previous PB. Overall, the Chiron SS300+ was not crazily dominant, but I can definitely see how it could be killer on a track without difficult drifting at the beginning. So, Azure Coast Forward, Area 51: Route 375-1, French Guiana Forward, Barcelona Reverse, and Terra 9: Neon Pursuit are some of the tracks where I think this thing will become the clear choice for the starter position. /// EDIT: - Rio de Janeiro: Highland View | 43:922 (Chiron SS300+, Jesko, Bolide) --> June 20, 2022
- Rio de Janeiro: Highland View | 43:955 (Bolide, Jesko, Regera) --> June 19, 2022

- Rio de Janeiro: Highland View | 44:169 (Sian, 600LT, Regera) --> Tie with PB (April 29, 2022)

From June 19 to June 20, I recorded new lap-times for Rio de Janeiro: Highland View and Transylvania: The King's Highway in an earlier comment in this thread. On June 20, I achieved another PB as the throwdown lap for the upcoming season, on The Great Wall: Wall Ascent (Chiron SS300+, Bolide // Centenario, Senna). From June 21 to June 27, I achieved PBs on three more tracks: Area 51: The Secret Lab (Chiron SS300+, Bolide, AF10 // LVN, Centenario, Divo) (June 23), Tenerife: Dragon Tree (Ultima RS, Nemesis // Battista, Centenario)* (June 23, June 24), and French Guiana Forward (Chiron SS300+, Senna, Nemesis // Divo, Bolide, Centenario)** (June 24, June 25). *The Tenerife: Dragon Tree PB came in multiple stages. Initially, the X2 had dethroned the Battista on June 23. Then, the FXX K and Nemesis had jointly dethroned the X2 and Senna on June 24. Finally, the Ultima RS dethroned the FXX K later in the day on June 24, although the Nemesis managed to keep its previously-won position. This series of events was unique for several reasons. Firstly, it was the first time that the X2 had returned to the leaderboard in months. Secondly, it was the first time that the Nemesis had ever appeared on the leaderboard. Thirdly, it was the first time that the FXX K had ever occupied the leaderboard as the starter car. Fourthly, it was the first time that the Ultima RS had ever appeared on the leaderboard. It is also important to note that the Ultima RS only had X9XX upgrades at the time that it set this PB, although its upgrades were finished shortly afterwards. NOTE: This may also be the first time that the Battista has lost a track, or one of the first times. **The French Guiana Forward PB also came in multiple stages. Initially, the Chiron SS300+ and X2 had jointly dethroned the Divo and Centenario on June 24. Then, the Senna and Ultima RS had jointly dethroned the Bolide and X2 on June 25. Finally, the Nemesis had dethroned the Ultima RS later in the day on June 25, with the Chiron SS300+ and Senna retaining their previously-won positions. This series of events was also somewhat special. For a few minutes on June 24, the X2 held two lap-times simultaneously, the most in months, although it lost both of these lap-times either within a few minutes or by the next day. Similarly, for a few minutes, the Ultima RS held two lap-times simultaneously, a record at the time, although it lost one of these PBs almost as soon as it came. Furthermore, this was the second PB that the Nemesis had ever set (with that being said, I've already used the Nemesis extensively on Venice Reverse Pos. 4, despite having not set a new PB with the Nemesis there yet).

Over the past 2.5 weeks, some significant changes have happened. The Bolide is now neck-and-neck with the Centenario, and the Chiron SS300+ now has 10+ runs. The LVN is on its last leg, and the 600LT is going to be nerfed in the near future. I've also recently acquired the Tushek TS 900 Racer Pro (RP) at full-PRO, and I've classified it as a Tier 3 car for now. /// From July 14 to August 1, I achieved PBs on the following tracks: - Rio de Janeiro: Rapido Park (Chiron SS300+, Bolide // Centenario, Senna) (July 16)
- Sector 8 Reverse (Senna // 600LT) (July 18 Part 1)
- The Great Wall: The Dragon's Den (Chiron SS300+, Battista, Bolide // LVN, Centenario, Senna) (July 18 Part 2)
- Rio de Janeiro: Ipanema Showdown (Chiron SS300+ // Centenario) (July 20)
- Barcelona Reverse (Tie with different cars, no PB change) (July 20)*
- London: Westminster Bridge (Chiron SS300+ // Centenario) (July 22)
- Area 51: Test Site: Omega (none) (July 22)
- Iceland Forward (Centenario // Battista) (August 1).
*July 20 Tie PB on Barcelona Reverse... Chiron SS300+, Senna, Ultima RS, Jesko = 51:264 vs Centenario, Jesko, Agera RS, Senna = 51:264

For Lunar Liftoff, I can suggest the following line-up (with my personal best defense time, no screenshot or video unfortunately):
1. Lamborghini Centenario 2. Ultima RS 3. Koenigsegg Jesko 4. McLaren Senna 5. Automobilli Pinifarina Battista/ Koenigsegg Regera/ Lamborghini Siรกn FKP-37/ Ferrari FXX-K (the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ and the Bugatti Bolide can also work as long as it has a good speed recovery, but I don't have those 2 cars)
Best defense time: 1:04:448 (after around 30 tries)
Edit: Good data analysis, bro. Keep it up.

Edit: Good data analysis, bro. Keep it up. That's actually an alien lap-time. Congrats! ๐ I own most cars in Class S at MAX+PRO, and I'm not sure that the Ultima RS alone is capable of launching me ahead by half a second. I do think you are onto something by putting the Jesko third (for the big drifts). I usually put the Jesko second because there's a long nitro-scarce stretch, and there's a relatively big drift in position two, although it can perhaps be alleviated with good handling and/or micro-drifting. This project is definitely still ongoing, although my Gauntlet races are mostly low-effort lately due to the crashing issues on Windows PC. My game is not running at the full performance anymore.

My game is not running at the full performance anymore. 1) From a section with a electrified tunnel to a section with the solar panels, with the Ultima, you don't need to drift. If you manage your nitro well, then you don't need to worry about nitro scarcity. 2) Don't take the ramp in the strip-mining machine section as it can slow you down, this is why the Centenario is the perfect car for this section. 3) The solar panels section require a car with good speed recovery, handling and drifting so the Jesko and the FXX-K are the two cars I would recommend, although the Jesko can bring some advantages due to its high raw top speed in case you are running out of nitro. 4) For the asteroid mining field (the one with the gold-like object), the Senna or the 600LT is the perfect car (if you use the Ultima in slot 2).
