Have my GT Mk II now @1682 and the car is competitive with the other cars in that rank bracket, although it's top speed is 3,2 km/h less then my clubsport.
Therefor the Mk II has better acceleration and better nitro efficency. However, the biggest disadvantage of the Mk II is its really wide drifting radius, sharp curves or turns (like the Dubai right turn to the shortcut ramp) are extremly difficult.
I was wondering about that, because the GT 2017 (before being nerfed) was wellknown for a very tight drifting radius. My questions now are:
1) Is the drifting radius of the GT 2017 after being nerfed still that sharp as it was before?
2) My Mk II is in its current tuning for handling at 1.302 and can be tuned up to it's maximum of 1.338. Does anybody know or remember, if the GT 2017 got it's excellent drifting skills only at high or full handling tuning?
I've always like the MkII for some reason and was unpatiently waiting for the pro cards to become available. Do you mind sharing your stats on this? I have too many MP tuning mistakes to try blindly again. Of course, tuning is 9-5-10-8
But you could also tune your MK II until you get the same values for acceleration, top speed, handling and nitro as in my above picture (will lead you to 9-5-10-8.... ).
BTW, I just used my MK II today in MP classic season, and it's wide drifting radius is really a problem. I had one race in Azur coast against two MP 4/8, both MAX PRO. I could overtake them in the first long tunnel, but in the three hairline curves down to the sea they came back pretty close to me. To drive theese curves with my MK II is really not funny.
Unfortunately no one has answered me so far, if the drifting radius gets sharper with higher handling tuning then mine.
If you try it, please let me know how it is.

I forgot one thing to mention.
Usingthe MK II in MP is only possible if you are in Champions League already, since it's an A class car.
Your competitors with cars @1682 or similar are mainly in Pro League with B class cars.
If you do not win or finish second or third, you can loose more points then you earn if you finish first. And the competitors with their Porsche Clubsport, BMW M4 and the like do have an advantage in each and every tight curve, and they are happy to KD you.
So using the MK II in MP is risky as long you got already your rewards for reaching EL and just use the MK II for fun.
Same is with low tuned Battistas.
I guess I will tune my Cobra now close to Rank 1502 (currently it's @1478) and try if it can compete with my TVR Sagaris SE @1500
Edit: I missed the goal with my Cobra , it's now @1504.... :icon_cry:

Edit: I missed the goal with my Cobra , it's now @1504.... Thanks for that...mine's at 8-7-9-8 at 1631. I was thinking to tune this to the 1682 bracket while I fill the hole I have in my lineup. I have a GT3 RS at 1583 but keep getting matched up with mostly 1200 rank IDR, H2, C7, or Alfieris. The room is usually 4-6 ppl so anything goes wrong and you also lose points. Not sure which situation is better. The wide D and C classes cast a huge shadow up to 1592 and there are few racing at 1682 in my timezone. Seems like there are so few racing the A and B class cars since it only makes sense (even that is debatable) to do so to get from 1600 to1800. I think there needs to be some worthwhile rewards above 1800 rank or you have to prevent higher ranks from using low C and D class cars to push them higher up and get some ppl there.

What I can tell you for the MK II is, that tuning tires from 8 to 9 increased my ranking points by 37.
Drivetrain from 9 to 10 increased my ranking points by 28.
Hope this will help you and we will meet once on track to compare.

So if I did those 2 upgrades, that would put me at 1696.... I'll have to try the tires and then see what I can do next with exhaust - what is the increase in top speed for Tires 9 to 10? I might be able to do that...

For now i have porsche spyder with wp at 1769 rank iirc, and is not bad for mp. Still i have about 130 wild cards for class A i need to spend. I dont want to buy a new A class car, i want to upgrade one from my garage if it is better then porsche spyder with wp. If not i will fuse that wild cards. I will post my list probably this week. Really dont have a time rn but want to ask another thing, B-wild cards are for S class. Another 2 type of wild cars are for class A and B or something else?

To be honest, the Aston Martin Victor is pretty bad for an A1770 car, and so is the Pagani Imola for that matter. In my opinion, the best A1770 car overall is the Lamborghini SC20. ^Aston Martin Victor --> Speed is decent --> Acceleration is average for A1770 (i.e. good compared to trash cars) --> Nitro efficiency seems okay (I need to measure it) --> Handling is below-average, similar to the Rimac C_Two --> Drifting is below average, similar to the Rimac C_Two ^Pagani Imola --> It seems to have similar overall traits to the Aston Martin Victor. Basically, both of these cars are similar to the Rimac C_Two in terms of handling+drifting, but they also don't have particularly amazing acceleration, which just makes them unremarkable all-around. The only saving grace of these two cars is their looks. They both look great. EDIT: Video of the Victor in Classic MP. youtu.be/be_6v07RQ3M

the mp tuning is dead!
my mkii 1589 55XX is only fairly competitive at 1590 bracket...
acc max top speed 382.5 handling 1.278 nitro 34.9
i guess only the kings of each bracket is good in the bracket... that means gl want us to max/pro every freaking cars to be competitive...

Recently I used 2 cars on my way to elite.
1. Chev zr1 2. Chev SS IE
The zr1 handling is better but I noticed it drifts a little bit wider than SS IE.. The SS IE drift is very sharp... its acceleration is better too... so obviously I feel it is superior than the zr1.
