And yes, I'm aware of the F1 cars, but I don't consider them to have been particularly broken, at least, in terms of speed. They were mainly broken in terms of acceleration, which is a moot point these days, since many cars now have similarly good acceleration. Though, the F1 cars did all have pretty good speed. (*)EDIT: But now, the F1 cars are all broken in a different way... they all skid too much. They didn't skid anywhere near as much in the past. The McLaren Mercedes MP4-25 used to be easy to drive. Now, it's a nightmare. Same with the 2018 McLaren X2 and McLaren MP4-31. Though, I think the McLaren MP4/8 and McLaren M14A are still okay to drive in the present day. MP4-25 has always been one of the worst skidder of them all, handling was somewhat "polished" and became a bit more easy to drive after the famous update supposed to fix many cars with skidding issues same for the X2, I got it from it's first event and the car was impossible to drive (for me) until the handling update mentioned above (*) at these times such an indecent broken acceleration advantage was enough to win a race on a short track against the fastest cars of the game, how can it be considered a "moot point" ? 🙄

When I got the MP4-25, long after the original event and sometime after the AIE came out, it actually handled just fine. I raced it a lot, sometimes beating the AIE. Haven't touched it in a long time though.

In any case, an acceleration advantage is different from a speed advantage. I was listing cars with broken top speeds, which could specifically be Multiplayer-tuned in order to achieve a higher speed at a lower rank. The F1 cars only had PRO upgrades, so they couldn't really be Multiplayer-tuned to a fine degree. You just upgraded drivetrain first, then tires, then exhaust, then suspension, basically. And the cars relied on acceleration primarily, with a smaller reliance on speed, nitro efficiency, handling, drifting, etc.

why you talk about nowadays ? 😑 I was always refering to the past...
"...The F1 cars only had PRO upgrades, so they couldn't really be Multiplayer-tuned to a fine degree..."
what is this new non sense ? 🤔 now wondering if we were playing the same game... 🙄
the 4/8 and 4-25 were killer mp cars on a base tune of 10-0-10-0, even the M14 had it's days of glory during early 2019 at 1305 rank during the first wave of nerfing, only the S cars 4-31 and X2 were never good for tuning

Multiplayer tuning typically involved tuning one stat in favour of another. F1 cars had two stats lumped together at any one time, due to having only Pro upgrades.

WⓄⓄpsy - The F1 cars were very good, but I didn't include them in the list due to how different they are from the other cars. It's the same reason that I haven't included any motorcycles in my list. I can add the F1 cars as "special mentions" in my original post.

Yes, but as we all know, one of those stats is emphasized over the other. If you want to focus on TS, upgrade tires and drivetrain, which is how I tuned my MP4-25, figuring it had plenty of acceleration and good handling, which didn't need improving. Back then, acceleration and handling would increase rank disproportionately to performance gains, so the key was to avoid suspension and exhaust which cost too many rank points. Later when upgrade ranks changed and acceleration rank cost became minimal relative to the performance gain, the calculus shifted to upgrading drivetrain and exhaust, gaining better acceleration for minimal rank increase. So MP tuning was certainly possible in the F1 cars, and is now.

The upgrades were worth 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%, respectively. The final Tuning Kit bonus at MAX level 5 was slightly lower than 30%, maybe 27.5% or something (I will have to check this). Meanwhile, the F1 cars' Tuning Kits worked completely differently. I think they may have had the full capacity starting from the stock upgrade level, which may have been the final deciding factor on their competitiveness in Multiplayer.

I think they may have had the full capacity starting from the stock upgrade level, which may have been the final deciding factor on their competitiveness in Multiplayer. As I remember it, upgrade percentages varied between the cars. It was never set or standard. I always had to look up the percentages on Wiki before deciding how to tune a car. I'm talking about the Tuning Kit bonus and the distance between the levels of upgrades. Each stat, acceleration, handling, nitro speed and raw top speed, had a different upgrade percentage in relation to one another. However, within each statistic, there was a fixed ratio of 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% for the upgrade levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively. The Tuning Kit speed bonus for Legacy cars was calculated by adding the equivalent speed boost of the next upgrade. So, if your car had Level 1 max raw top speed, you would possess the equivalent of Level 2 max raw top speed with a Tuning Kit enabled. At the fifth level, since there were no more levels, you received a speed boost that was based on a fixed ratio between the difference between stock and max speeds, and this ratio ended up being slightly less than 30%. So, you always received a bigger speed boost at Level 4 max speed, in comparison to the speed boost at Level 5 max speed. Though, the Level 5 speed boost was always bigger than the speed boost at Level 3 max speed. Meanwhile, F1 cars bypassed this system entirely, as far as I'm aware, receiving the maximum level of speed boost beginning from stock. Legacy cars needed to be upgraded in order to receive a bigger speed boost from their Tuning Kits, so they were always at a disadvantage to F1 cars when at lower tunes.

I bought the Rezvani Beast Alpha in my alt account for 430k FCs!! Great deal. That was my next planned purchase for my Pro Gauntlet league lineup. It would have taken me much longer to get this otherwise.
The Rezvanis are not used that much in MP, so maybe GL just wants to get more out there. I hope they don't get nerfed.
OH What ? Days ago You was saying Nerfing / Screwing with cars was " Good for the game " Now " I hope they don't get nerfed " The hypocrisy They coming for cars you care about & now you hope they ain't Screwed wit !!! WTF ? Flip Flop much ? A much to much !!! What a wicked web we weave , When we try to deceive !!! Now your views of screwing with cats cars are changing when they come for yours !! Maybe that's it, you just don't remember so well. 😉 Or don't understand so well. 🤔 Now take a deep breath, sit down in your comfy chair 🚽 and think real deep (for you) about what I have written, because I'm not going to waste my time 🤮 trying to spell it out for you yet again. The special case does not imply the general case. (there, that's as far as I'm going)

The special case does not imply the general case. (there, that's as far as I'm going) There can be no special case, a retard with a hammer and permission to do whatever s/he wants will knockdown what they dislike or what others like whome they dislike. If at all there was a grudge against ARSE they could have just retuned stats to make it competitive from overpowering but no case to knock it down from 1672 to 1231 and any justification in the name of "special case" betrays everyone who liked to race it at full pro.

yup, real talk, the common factor of R8SE bashers,
even noobs weren't complaining anymore since they were given the ofppotunity to buy it from time to time but older noobs badly needed to see it go away for a reason 😉 😌 🙄
